Set up timers so your lights go on and off at certain times during the day. To safeguard yourself even further, set your lights up with a phone app that allows you to switch your lights on\/off at the click of a button \u2013 even from thousands of miles away. This way, anyone monitoring your home won\u2019t be able to track a patterned timer, and they\u2019ll be less likely to try to break in.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mail<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nothing says \u2018nobody\u2019s home\u2019 more than a pile of a mail at your front door.
