As reported by Insauga.com, the Province of Ontario recently announced the implementation of Wi-Fi on GO trains and buses. The implementation plan will start small; it will be tested on a number of trains and buses before being installed in all GO Transit vehicles/trains.

In addition to the implementation of Wi-Fi, GO Transit will launch a new website in the upcoming weeks. This will allow users to better navigate the site, enhancing their travel planning experiences. Updates include the improved trip planner, fare calculator, and service/station information.
GO Transit’s main goal in this implementation is not only to increase the quality of your morning commute. Wi-Fi is a step towards transitioning from a commuter transit service into a regional rapid transit system. The Province of Ontario is joining forces with GO Transit by investing $21.3 billion.
